a bit about me:
I fell in love with photography after picking up a camera for a holiday trip and found I was always eager to find something or someone to point my camera at. After my own wedding day and getting my wonderful pictures back, the thought of being a part of someone’s wedding to capture it really
appealed to me and so it set me on this wonderful journey I’ve found myself on. At first I started out as a backup shooter for a wedding in 2012. When I look back at those images now I really cringe. Henri Cartier-Bresson once said “Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.” and you know what, he was totally right. However I received a lot of compliments about those pictures, mainly from my super supportive family(thanks guys). Happily since then through skill sharing, courses, and shooting countless weddings I bring not only years of experience and a unique style, but attention to detail that many would miss or their photographs would lack. Regarding my style, whilst many photographers like to label themselves as purely documentary photographers I prefer to get a little involved with some direction and pointers. After all you are hiring a pro so you can get the best pictures of your day, so by asking you to button up your jacket or adding a little flash to brighten the image can make the difference between ‘Photographs’ and ‘Amazing Photographs’.
